I can't say I'm there yet, but I will never give up. When I was in school the last time around, it was during a very dark time in my life. The first year, I was out of my mind, to say the least.
The program I was in, was tantamount to holding onto the side of a speeding train by my fingernails. On top of that, I was in trouble a lot of the time. I remember finishing a remediation assignment and my professor said to me; "Why don't you just give up?" I told him; "You can throw me out if you need to, but I will never give up."
I kept saying over and over, out loud, I am graduating in 2013. In fact my e-mail is email@example.com so I could keep my goal in front of me at all times. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life, but I did graduate. In fact I graduated with honors.
If you really believe in what you are doing, keep doing it. If it appears to fail, try again. Come at it from a different direction. I can honestly say, every "failure" has led me somewhere totally unexpected.
Nothing is wasted in God's economy. Everything I've learned, or been, or done has contributed to what I'm doing today. I'm sure, what I'm doing today is preparing me for what is ahead. Never stop growing, never stop learning.
If you hate your job. Learn something new. If you hate where you live, or anything about your life, it is in your power to change it. The only true defeat is in giving up, or worse, never trying in the first place.
God has a plan for each of us. It is up to us whether or not we follow the desires of our hearts. Don't let a misguided parent, teacher, spouse or boss keep you down. If you know deep inside what it is you were born for DO IT!
What is you want to be? Say it out loud. . .when you say I AM, you are invoking the name of God, so think before you speak. Declare out loud; I AM a writer, I AM a teacher, I AM important, I AM a fantastic, impelling speaker, I AM moving toward something great, I AM happy and fulfilled, I AM prosperous, I AM loved.
Fantasizing the freedom to believe dreams come true.
