Today, I slept in because I got a surprise day off. It's Friday and there was not enough for me to do to make it worthwhile, so I didn't even have to ask. I usually wake up at 4:30 - 5 am. This morning I slept until 7:30 and it felt so good.
God knows what we need and if we commit our work, our day our lives into His hands, He will order our steps and take us where we were born to be.
I believe each of us has a purpose to perform in our time here on the earth. As I've said before, we are spiritual beings, having a human experience, not the other way around. Therefore when we open ourselves to discover that realm, great wonders will appear.
Even on those hard, gut wrenching days, (we all have them) we can be assured there is a purpose in it. Part of it is simply life happening, but at the same time I always ask myself, what can I learn here to make tomorrow better?
Keep your eyes pealed and your spirit open, ask for understanding and wait for the ride to begin. Life will never be the same again. There are great and mysterious truths to be realized, if only we will have eyes to see and ears to hear. As Miss Barker, my kindergarten teacher used to say, look, listen and learn.
