God did not create women to live a subservient life. Through my life I have been crushed under the heel of more than one man in power over me. At this time, I have come to realize, it is the power I poses, they fear.
Today, I am surrounded by men and women who are uplifting and supportive. It has taken a long time to get to this place and I do not intend to have anything take it away.
You see, whether we are sick in our bodies, or in our prime, we are powerful in our spirit. I've been down with a weakness for the past two weeks. This week, I'm back to work, finding that the more I do, the more I am able to do. Last night was the first night of the fall season of kickball. Not sure how I'd do, I started out slow, finished well.
So, I am not proposing you crush your enemies head with a tent peg. I am suggesting, all of us stand in our power and own it. Get up and do all you can do to make your life and someone else's life better today. It can be something as small as a smile or and uplifting word to another, and anything over and above that. Fantasizing the freedom to walk in power and love and a sound mind!
