I think on some level, that is one way gratitude manifests change our lives. The how of it remains a mystery for the most part. At this point in my life I am just wowed by the reality of it.
Yesterday, I came home to a clean house, clean sheets and towels, open windows, flowers on the table and soft jazz wafting through the air. What a treat. I'm still smiling. The evening was light and fun, good food, good conversation and good sleep.
This all may sound nice, but so what? Well, a year ago the scene was quite different. On many levels. Most of all, the house was usually dark and quiet and somber. My fantasy was to have music and light in my world. I could not see how it would happen, but it has. More importantly, it has without my manipulation.
I'm certain of one thing. When I changed my mind, my reality changed. I've seen cardboard signs up around town: REPENT ..... These signs appear off and on through the years depending on what's going on in the world. What I'd like to point out is this: Repent means change. Change your mind and your life changes.
Train your mind to be grateful and hopeful and see miracles happen. Loving life brings a life of love. Who knew?!
