While it became very time consuming, it was clear this boy was curious about every thing. One day, driving home from work, Jimmy in his car seat in the back, said loud and clear "your my momma. I almost went in the ditch.
Apparently he was just collecting information and was simply ready to speak. All his growing up years, he remained curious. His curiosity taught him to literally fly a plane. I sat on the ground with my video camera filming his first solo flight.
When he came down, his beaming face told it all. He said: "Mom, I couldn't stop laughing the whole time." To this day he has used his curiosity to support himself, learn new things and start a successful business.
My curiosity has served me well also. I never really thought of it as curiosity, but at the root it was. It has taken me through several careers, leading to, two degrees and a progression of occupations and a career I love. It has helped me expand my world with my writing.
Curiosity will prevent you from living a stagnant life. My spiritual life has evolved and grown as my search for truth has taken me far from where I started. Learning new things will shake up you sensibilities in an exciting and scary way.
Never be afraid to say I don't know. The most intelligent people are the one's who are smart enough to know that they don't know much. Fantasizing freedom to learn new things.
