When I knew her, she was working too hard, living a beige life. Oh, how things have changed. One just doesn't know another persons heart. What we see on the outside doesn't always reflect what is going on inside.
I do believe it is a big beautiful place we live. If we allow the evil doers to take away our dreams, hopes and vision, they win. Seeing pictures of this woman in Africa, India and other such places, glowing and happy reminded me; the news sensationalizes the bad. We need to remember the good far outweighs the bad.
Everyday I get up to a beautiful home, lovely surroundings, a good job, successful children, smiling grandchildren and love in my life, there is beauty. All I have to do is leave the tv off to keep out the evil.
Some may say, I have my head in the sand. I say I keep it in the clouds, above the problems of the world that I cannot fix. All I can do is live my life brave and hopeful. Do good and leave the rest to God.
Fantasizing the freedom to live happy. I choose today to life in the now, not worry about what MIGHT happen.
