The past month has been a whirl wind of activity, chaos, gatherings, food, photos and memories to last a life time. It was good. It was a particularly good way to start 2015. Setting the tone for a year of new adventures.
So far I've had visions of a new business adventure with Advocare. A blog which I never even thought about until my daughter suggested it. Also started a happiness jar. You may have seen it posted on Facebook during the holiday season. Take a jar and start filling it with all the good things that happen during the year. On New Year's Eve open it up and see what a wonderful year it's been.
Recently I've been reminded to count the hard times, challenges and heart breaks among the good things. It is most definitely true that, if you are willing to explore them, the "bad" times are also times of great growth in life. I can certainly attest to that.
I can honestly look back and see that if I hadn't gone through some of the hardest situations, death, separation, loss, with an open heart and mind to see the lesson in them, I wouldn't be where I am today. I'm really happy that I've come to this place. All the tears, pain, loss and turmoil have really given me a strength I never dreamed possible.
It is so true that what you think, more importantly, believe about yourself and your life, becomes your truth. It is also true that you can become better OR bitter. I'm so grateful and thankful that God gave me a teachable spirit and a curious mind.
Today, life is full of hope and unending possibilities. Today I believe I am all I choose to be. I am on a path of enlightenment, discovery and wonder. Will you join me?
