Just so happens that I danced Polynesian in Hawaii as a kid, then later with a small troop. So much fun. I think the last time I danced in public was 2011 at a Toastmasters meeting. Much to my surprise, I've still got some moves.
I demonstrated for them, the director unexpectedly, insisted that I dance on Monday, two days from now, at their party. AHHH! So much to do, so little time. So happy!
This pleasant surprise dropped in my lap only days after my upsetting experience with the phone message. Life really is a roller coaster. Today I am focusing on the joys in my life which are many, letting go of the negative. Today I am fantasizing the personal freedom to get up and dance with abandon and remember, joy is lurking around a corner.
Hard times come and go, so do the joys in life. It is my mission, not to spoil the joy by focusing on the disappointments. Cars have a large windshield and a small rear view mirror. If you spend most of your time looking back, you only have wreckage in your future. Jump on the joy train and see where it takes you.
