I just saw a story on Facebook; a group of strangers in the water, saving children from an overturned car. They were praying and diving, successfully pulling an infant and toddler from the submerged vehicle.
This is definately a tough time for the parents of these children. I and many others, I'm sure, gained a whole renewed faith in the human race. It goes to show us all that along with the shootings and riots and wars going on, there are many, many unsung heroes. Heroes who wouldn't classify themselves as such, who are out there saving others, doing good deeds, lending a hand to the sick and suffering.
Let's take a moment to thank GOD for these people who do, without fan fare, good for and to others. Let's see them on the evening news. Maybe, just maybe if we lifted up and honored the good, ignored the bad, things would really change.
It's what we dwell on, celebrate that grows. Why are we as a society "celebrating" evil every day and night over the air? CELEBRATE: to make known publicly; proclaim.
Fantasizing the freedom to celebrate the good, bury the evil!
