sitting on this wall high above Palm Desert, California was strangely peaceful. The photo doesn't do it justice.
For the most part, through my life, I've been pretty much fearless. Especially in my later years. We all have fears of some kind, as do I. I won't voice them, because that gives them power.
I believe anyone can change given the tools and the will to. I certainly have had to change a LOT. It takes practice and the ability to keep trying in the face of failure. BUT it is possible and so invigorating. I've heard people whisper, people don't change.
I would have to say, many people don't change. This could be so, for many reasons, chief among them fear (False evidence appearing real.) or pure laziness. Only you can determine that for sure.
For me, the process of change, hard and painful as it is, is better than the pain associated with staying the same. I think I've changed a LOT over the years. Thanks be to God.
My circumstances remain much the same. It is I who has changed. When I changed, much around me changes. So just for today, try it. Change your mind when fearful thoughts come in. Stop going over your pain, your loss, your disappointment. Instead speak words of blessing over yourself. Use I AM as a starting point. Say I AM . . whatever it is you want to become.
Fantasizing the freedom to be the best God created me to be.
