I've seen it time and time again. As with the caterpillar, one day he's scooting along the ground, then he's trapped in the "prison" of a cocoon, only to be released to a new freedom.
Are you feeling like things will never change? Like you're trapped in a situation and stagnating? I think this happens to everyone at some point in their lives.
This time in the cocoon, the thing we hate, is the very time God uses to grow us wings. Look at life as a school room. Always learning, always growing, even when we are not aware. Life look sweeter.
I have no way of knowing how long, I'll be in my cocoon, nor will you. What I do know is; if we relax and enjoy the journey as much as possible, the day of freedom will come sooner than you think. Better yet, find freedom in your cocoon, then you'll never spend a day "trapped". Fantasizing freedom to be happy in my cocoon.
