This is a good thing in a lot of ways, but it sure got old after awhile. Either you figured out a way to dance in the rain, or be depressed.
I think this is true in all areas of life. I was talking to a friend yesterday on her way home from work. When asked how work was, she stated "I hate it." That makes me sad on so many levels.
I'm sure most of us have had jobs we hated. I certainly have. Fortunately, I've been able to move past that time, that attitude and forge a life for myself that I love. It wasn't easy to be sure, but so worth it.
If you find yourself in a situation you are "hating" change it. Especially if you think you can't. You can always change. Change the job, change careers, or simply change your attitude.
At 20 if you hate your job, chances are pretty good you won't have it long. At almost 60 it could be anther story. ALTHOUGH, living life as an ageless goddess, opens doors for one, you wouldn't believe possible if you looked at life in the natural.
There is always room for change. Changing you mind is the first step, believing it's possible is the second, taking the first step is the next. Each step that follows becomes easier to take. The key is in not turning back or parking the bus.
Where there is life there is hope for a new beginning, a new love and gusto for life if only you open yourself up to it. Trust me when I say, dealing with these unexpected health issues has put me in a place of having to look at the fact that I'm getting older. It will not stop me from living the best life I can.
Fantasizing the freedom to make new choices and dance out loud in the rain!
