What an inspiration. As the day went on I heard several young, vivacious individuals, comment on how old they were getting. One in her 20's, one in his 30's and one in her 40's. I thought to myself, "Hmmm, I'm in my 50's and I'm not old. So what's up with that??
It's all in our perspective. We are what we choose to be in this life. I know there are the doubters, the but what iffers, the if you only knewers. I have been all of these things. It has taken a long road and a lot of adversity to come to the realization that I had on ruby slippers and all I had to do was click the heels three times and say, there's no place like home to be there. At home with my thoughts, at home with my body, my job, my family and my lot in life.
It's all up to us to make or break the life we live. Today I choose to live the life of a goddess and I will never age in a traditional way. Getting older is inevitable, aging is optional as Dr. Christianne Northrup says.
Look in the mirror less and in your heart more. This is the key. Stay strong, eat right, laugh a lot and grow younger every day. Fantasizing freedom to be youthful all my life.
