I know in my heart it's time to get into a low maintenance home. Seems as though the last time we were in this situation, we ended up building our home. We've been here 22 years and it's time to purge, simplify and let someone else maintain the exterior.
We sat down a few days ago and wrote God a list of what we desire and feel we need, in order to make the move worthwhile. Now is the time of waiting, wondering, looking and continuing to clear out our clutter.
What's different this time is; we are not on a timeline. No job waiting in anther state, no worries about school starting or letting out, no pressure with money. My husband said to me this evening; "Let's sell the empty house and take our time finding what we want." Good idea.
No pressure, except what I am putting on myself. Time to sit back and enjoy each day as it comes. The grass may or may not be greener on the other side of the fence, but you still have to mow it; OR DO you?
Fantasizing freedom from yard work, and all the hassles that go with owning a big home.
