When one is depending on someone else to make them happy, they will be disappointed every time. Humans will always let each other down. That is simply a fact of life. No matter how hard we may try to keep each other happy, failure is inevitable.
When I finally realized, I was my biggest problem, the problems began to become opportunities. Opportunities to grow, learn and change.
As I look back over my life, I have so much more to be grateful for than to complain about. At one time this wasn't my truth. I was full of anger, pain and blame. I blamed myself on my father, moving around a lot, my mother, my circumstances, anything except me.
Now I know, if I have a problem, it's always me. This may sound terrible at first glance. In reality, it's wonderful, because, if I'm the problem, I'm also the solution.
Today, it is easier than ever to pick myself up, following a blow, than it ever has been. I also feel blessed to have courage and tenacity. Now, I can look at what I thought were failures and see them for what they were, stepping stones to success.
Success is at your command. Literally what you believe about yourself and your life, is exactly what you will produce. If you believe you are always broke, you will be. Saying it out loud is even worse.
Think about the past 24 hours. What have you said to yourself about yourself? If you are cursing your life with your thoughts, beliefs and words, change your mind. It is in changing your mind, you can change your life.
What have you got to lose? The worst thing that could happen is you become hopeful.
Fantasizing the freedom hope brings.
