To what end would one say such a thing to someone? Hope given for the first time in many years? Hope of freedom from debilitating pain? Hope to have a better quality of life?
As it turns out, it was his chiropractor, apparently seeing the end to a regular customer. It's really disturbing to me, for someone who is suppose to have his best interest at heart, to try to quench his belief.
What you say, what you "put out there" has power. Thank the good Lord, Ed is smart enough, spiritual enough to let it go in one ear and out the other. The one thing scripture tells us is to believe with all your heart. It's the act of believing that changes lives, opens the door to miracles.
These two things are true, if you believe you can't, you can't. If you believe you can, you can. Pure and simple. Thoughts, prayers, believing in something beyond your understanding, all create the life you are living.
Today, we choose to believe. To believe God's hand is in this. To believe in miracles. To believe all things are possible. To believe God answers prayer.
Don't ever let the opinion or bad report from a third party, quench your enthusiasm, your excitement, your dreams. If you are believing for a miracle, keep believing. Reject ANY negative words or attitudes the world would throw at you and see the hand of God work. No matter how long it takes, when it happens the time doesn't matter. It's all in His time.
Fantasizing the freedom to stick with my dreams and visions for a prosperous, happy future.
