To be open to ideas residing outside your comfort zone, creates an environment for learning, changing as a person. When I was 9, we had an orchestra in our elementary school. When it came time to decide which instrument I wanted to play. I chose the clarinet, because it had a lot of keys! As always with me, doing things the hard way.
I did learn the clarinet. In fact within a year, I was often in the first chair, sometimes second. This is very good. First chair is the best in the group of woodwinds, or what have you. This has been a trend in my life. Challenging myself to do scary things. Succeeding much of the time. Learning new things about myself all the time.
I have been learning and growing my whole life. Never satisfied with the status quo. I'm sure my family and others are glad about that. I know I am.
Looking back over my life, I can see how far I've come as a human being. Today I love myself. Today I am able to give myself the love and grace I extend to others. What a relief, not to beat myself up over simply being me
Fantasizing the freedom to explore and grow stronger everyday.
