It started out with the dancers all dressed like residents in a nursing home. Quite accurate.
It was a fabulous show with a message at the end inspiring respect for our elders in a way we've all but lost. Those we look at as old, are simply us. Our bodies get old, our minds; not necessarily.
Inside every "old" person, is a young person thinking; WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!? Now, I'm not old, I'm also not young. Still, I dance and laugh and goof off as if I were 20. Only difference is, I'm not the least bit embarrassed.
Play while you can. Dance, sing and live life with joy. Be grateful for what you have, always.
Worry not. . . the only thing that comes from worry is gray hair and wrinkles. It certainly doesn't help anything.
Fantasizing the freedom to keep dancing until my last moments.
